On the Danube river you can choose between different beautiful sailing routes with several of Ama Waterway's lovely river cruise ships. We have chosen to show two examples of sailing between Nuremberg and Budapest (or in the opposite direction) on the Danube river. From Nuremberg, for example, the river cruise begins with an exciting sailing route through the man-made river crossing the Main-Danube, which empties into the natural Danube river.

Along the way, on the Danube river, various large and small medieval towns are visited, with plenty of opportunity to dream hundreds of years back in time in the most beautiful surroundings. At the same time, there is ample opportunity for lovely guided bicycle and walking tours in the beautiful urban and natural surroundings. You get an in-depth introduction to the lovely regional wines and many different local beer brands in both Germany, Austria and Hungary.

Boarding on the day of arrival usually starts at. 15: 00 and and end no later than 1 hour before departure. Departure from the ship on the last day is between kl. 09: 00 and at. 10: 00. The actual arrival and departure times in each port are announced by the shipping company closer to the departure date.
